REMEMBER FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT?

WHY CHOOSE SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP YOU  DESIGN YOUR PROJECT, BUILD IT,  DESIGN THE LANDSCAPING AND INSTALL IT,  DO THE INTERIOR DESIGN AND DECORATION, AND GET IT TOTALLY READY FOR YOU TO MOVE INTO? (You mean like Frank Lloyd Wright?)

Because there is a solid cohesion in the process when it is done this way.   The original designing process is also the costing process and when you make choices, they are informed ones. There are no scheduling delays, because it  is a seamless process from beginning to end.  This saves you money and time. At the completion of  your home you have a total composition, a work of art if you will. Maybe not Frank Lloyd Wright, but done in the same way.  I think it is the best way , which is why I decided to get my contractor’s license.

A home is an Artistic Composition.  I WILL WORK WITH YOU TO MAKE YOUR COMPOSITION  TURN OUT THE WAY YOU WANT IT TO.

I built my own home in 1988 because I wanted to build “a home place” evoking the kind of quality that will last for centuries...sturdy materials, excellent workmanship, and a flexible passive solar design that allowed for future changes in our family’s life.  In 1993, I designed and built a handicapped accessible two story cottage and studio at Good Earth Pottery and Garden. The gardens were an integral part of the overall design. The close proximity of the two buildings made the center garden space between them become a jewel-like courtyard, a place filled with beauty and color all year long.

Visitors to the studio often admire the tranquility they feel while on our property.  They have asked many questions and I have heard many times,  “Oh!  You are so lucky to live here!”

Yes, I am,  but I am also responsible for making it turn out like that.

The choices we make are the ones we live with, sometimes forever. Make them good ones.
